Nathan Blader is a cinematographer and colorist based out of NYC. He is a recent graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in film production, concentrating on cinematography. He has shot over a dozen short films and worked on dozens more in all departments. In addition, he has colored over ten films in the last two years of school.
Nathan has worked with all kinds of gear, including the ARRI Alexa Mini, Canon C300, Sony Cine cameras, and Blackmagic cameras. He has used ARRI SkyPanels, and Aputure LED lights, along with analog technologies like 5kW tungsten fixtures and ARRI M18 HMI units. He also had the opportunity to use MAGIC Spell Studios' industry standard soundstages and color correction suite.
Nathan has been creating short videos since he was a kid. He wants to continue learning about the filmmaking process and the technical side that supports it.
